<title>Possible reasons for launching a cultural change programme</title>
			<link>http://2.sda-web.org/index.php/General-Articles/Possible-reasons-for-launching-a-cultural-change-programme.html</link>
<description> Author: Abdallah SobeihThe possible reasons for launching a change programme depend on the need for the change. There are therefore different scenarios and a variety of possible reasons for launching a cultural change programme. Among these reasons and as examples of different factors for change are: organizational restructuring, change in the leadership and management style, human factors, economics, politics, market variations, technological, demographic, cultural and globalization etc. (Alvesson Sveningsson (2008) and Dawson, 2003). In general the reasons for launching a change could be referred to internal or external factors or both. Hereby, I have chosen to highlight on two main points; the first highlights on the main factors and perspectives behind launching a cultural change programme, and the second is presenting leadership and globalization as two possible reasons for launching a cultural change programme. </description>
